This was one of those days when I debated with myself whether to leave my camera
at the cottage in the dry or take it with me believing the grey mist shrouding the Burwarton
Estate would lift as I made my way up onto Brown Clee Hill. Fortunately, when I was just about to
clear Game Covert I was rewarded with the sun dramatically burning through the mist. Although the
hoar frost is not visible in the silhouetted trees it can be seen clinging to the grass in the foreground
of the shot. For me, the picture captured perfectly the point at which a dull, damp & grey start  transformed into a beautiful day

Having visited Bewdley regularly from a young age and subsequently living here for a
picture number of years, I have decided that Beales Corner is my favourite view of the town.
I've experimented taking photos of this view at both early morning and late afternoon without much
success, this shot however with the buildings reflected in the Severn is the one that  I believe records
it at it's best. In history Bewdley was originally known as Beau lieu which is French for Beautiful
Place, I think if you were stood where I was on a similar day you would agree that this view  substantiates that fact perfectly.
