A genealogical enquiry
I wonder if anyone remembers my father, Mr
William Cedric Poole, who was the signalman
for Churchill and Blakedown for many years.
I am Mrs Josie Whitehead, and now I live
in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, but, as Josie
Poole, I was born at Haventree, Kidderminster
Road South, West Hagley in June 1941, and
my brother is David Poole, who now lives
in Hereford. My mother was Mrs Dorothy Poole.
I would be interested to know if anyone remembers
our family.

Hello
I wonder if you could help me - I am interested
to find out what happened to a house called
Granada in Blakedown village. I do
not think it is still there and wondered
when and why it was demolished. It was accessed
by what now is a car park, the tree lined
driveway being at the rear of the car park.
