  2. Minutes from the last meeting ACTION Toilet leak – IC

  3. TREASURY REPORT.

Following the transfer of the Legal and General charity aid, Bolt cheques and fete money to the pavilion fund the accounts stand at: Fundraising account £ 7425.69 Sports Account £1887.12 Outstanding invoices for football and tennis to be issued. The electricity bill is to be paid, but we are awaiting revised amount due to meter reading being supplied. ACTION Increased insurance to be considered for the new tennis courts and lights etc. Litter letter to be included in the football invoices.

  1. CRICKET Net dates booked at Stourport . Suggestion that on a free day in the fixture list a ‘fun’ day BBQ/cream teas day for the village be organised. ACTION Net dates to be circulated. Committee to be formed. Diane to supply pro forma constitution to adapt. Two gate and pavilion keys to be provided to Mark as Cricket keys.

  2. FOOTBALL Pitch condition good. ACTION Invoices need to go out.

  3. TENNIS No news.

  4. CORRESPONDENCE Letters passed from Parish Council regarding Red Cross Grants. Fred investigating. Parish Plan news letter with information about funds for going green. Lotteries receipt to gamble.

  5. Water Rates Diane has met 3 times with engineers, replacement of boundary box meter and joint. We are now waiting for official confirmation that this has fixed the problem and that the debt can be cleared and we go back to normal. Pete to check the insurance for adequate cover. Mark requests that Pete goes over the policy at the next meeting so we are clear about the details. (DW to give PD copy prior to this to prepare) Ian C has a water form to return and will send covering letter about the address used.

  6. Ballroom Glitz Food 8.30pm – background music. Music 9.15pm and fin 10.45pm with some scope for encore before 11pm finish. Sale or return beer/wine/soft drinks. Float discussed with IC cash for band balance. Cheque ready for fish and chips. 5.30pm all hands on deck, this is when we have access to prepare room.

  7. Business Plan nearly finished. DW to contact Richard ? Sports development partnership to help with loans and applications. The information from Wyre Forest meeting with Diane was unforthcoming and the lady has now left. All these little hurdles!

  8. Progress the Pavilion agreed by unanimous vote to put plan forward for Planning Permission (DW proposed, PD second) Charge to be 6%of cost of whole. Discussed as reasonable and normal cost of plans drawn etc. Work to be done to ECO the whole project as much as possible.

  9. AOB Sunfield should be offered a key to the gate if it is feasible to manage its use. We welcome their use of the equipment and would like to make it easier for them and safer for the children with the mini bus parked beside the gate rather than stuck in the drive. ‘No Dog’ signs on the gates of the play ground. Dogs have been seen inside the railings near the equipment. Responsible dog owners who clear up mess only have the general waste bin by the play ground or a dog waste bin in the far corner down the Belbroughton Road footpath, could another dog waste bin be provided. Web site to be discussed at a future meeting with each sport covered or linked in. Parish Council pay for ROSPA Certificate. ACTION A letter offering Sunfield a key and supplying contact details. PD to source and fit ‘No Dogs’ signs. Wyre forest to be approached about the dog waste bin situation – FG to ask for information. Inform Playground committee about PC paying for certificate. – FG in thank letter.

  10. DATE OF NEXT MEETING Thursday April 10th 7.45 for 8pm (Still at the Old House due to cold temperature in the Pavilion!)
