I have lived in Blakedown since 1999, and come originally from Pensnett, the true heart of the Black Country.

I run the web site on a voluntary basis after being introduced to the original site owner, Jill Hall (no relation), by Sue Savage. After agreeing to run the site, I then managed to persuade the Parish Council to own the site for the villages of Churchill and Blakedown, so that when I eventually move on, the site will continue under a new Administrator.

I am also the Cub Scout Leader (Akela) for the Blakedown Scout Group. When I get time (ha!), my other hobbies include archery, astronomy and classical guitar

I work for a large American, International computing firm that supply Business Machines and computer solutions to companies and organisations of all sizes and types.
