  1. Minutes from the last meeting. Read and signed as correct.

  2. MATTERS ARISING.

Ian to do online charities return in January date to confirm with Fred , Amy to approach S Tubb for door repairs. Ian Pavilion keys check, distribute and check payment and padlocks to be sourced for changing room doors. Thank you letters still to do Fred.

  1. TREASURY REPORT. Fundraising account 5455.81 Sports Account 1980.51 More Blakedown Bolt cheques to bank, another Legal and General donation on the back of Russ Welbourn’s fundraising, Parish council cheque for weather damage which will be earmarked for pavilion ongoing repair.

  2. SPORTS REPORT. Cricket – Rope, Ian to buy at week end or text Fred on Monday with length required. Russ to book nets at Stourport. Cricket committee to be formed. Mark is asked to be Cricket rep for this committee (Thank you for taking on this position) FootballIan to chase up suspects for the dirty littered changing rooms. Ian to consult John about the connection and therefore the leak at the back of the toilets. Ian and Phil with Ben Watkins to be included in talks with Blakedown football clubs Sunday league team. Pitches all taken on Saturday with junior sides as our priority due to their established support of the ground. Any extra slots over and above this would be too much wear and tear. Nigel to promote the sale of Ballroom Glitz tickets, flyers and ticket sales 10am Saturday or 2.30 Sunday. Amy and Judy to promote junior side in Blakedown School, using a flyer in bookbags and leafleting the village.

  3. WATER. Severn Trent’s bill is now £4623.88. Diane and Fred have met with an Engineer at the ground, away change shower drips and so do some other pipes but stop taps are used at the pavilion, not enough to explain this huge bill. Engineer again next Thursday to check pipe. Meter said to be ok. Discuss next meeting after 2nd engineer been.

  4. PLAYGROUND UPDATE. Email sent round informing us all prior to work starting. Jim and representative visited school to inform Children there for safety (and anticipation!) Watch the space at a safe distance and remember that even once it is finished the grass etc will need time to grow and settle so it won’t look its best straight away!

  5. BALLROOM GLITZ. Saturday March 8th.

    Posters

    Ian – as many as poss – Hagley pub Post Office, Belbroughton, Work, Stourport sports club, etc

    Amy – Parish notice board, Parish Room, School, Crossing notice board and some leaflets to access villagers not in school/other organisations. Flyers for book bags approach HP.

    Judy – Hagley dancing lesson rooms and some leaflets to access villagers not in school/other organisations

    Diane – Sculthorpe board, Primary care, example poster in colour for Simon to copy and supply the above and display in Old House?

    All – please ask for posters if you have an idea to promote this event.

    Food

    Fred – provisionally book 120 with Greg.

    Everyone please help set up on night. Jane offered to help decorate (Thank you)

  6. BUSINESS PLAN It is nearly finished, to be typed up, reviewed by us and then for general criticism!

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE. Thank you every one who supported the raffle, selling tickets, buying tickets, providing prizes.
